The Perfect Weekend Itinerary: Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville, Tennessee is one of those places that I will never get sick of. There is such a wide variety of neighborhoods and pockets of action in and around the city, providing something to do for virtually every type of person. If you are planning a weekend getaway, a bachelorette party, or even a staycation to play tourist in your own city, this is for you!
Day 1: Nashville Farmers Market, 12 South, Nashville Mural Tour
We woke up after a long day of travel and headed to the Nashville Farmers Market. There are tons of vendors with a wide variety of food to chose from!
From there we took a walk through The Gardens of Babylon and the plants were to die for. If you are a plant person this is a must visit.
We continued walking until we reached the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and it was the most peaceful green space.
We headed to 12 South for a sweet treat and to take photos with the murals. There are so many murals in 12 South, so if you are an instagram queen, you will want to dress accordingly.
Dessert (yes, before dinner) at 5 Daughters Bakery, the yummiest cronuts.
Dinner at Hattie B’s, for their famous Nashville hot chicken! So good.
Day 2: The Gulch, Belmont, Brentwood Mansions, Mural Tours Part 2, the Parthenon
Breakfast at Barista Parlor in The Gulch. I make sure to fit in a Barista Parlor breakfast every time I visit Nashville. One of my all time favorites!
We headed to The Belmont area of town to take photos with the Drippy Lips Mural and walk around the area which was so cute and gave all the college town vibes.
I don’t know about you but I LOVE scoping out the mansions when I’m in a new place so we went on Zillow and set the filters to see multimillion dollar houses. Once we got to the first one, it was easy to just wonder around the neighborhoods and see what we stumbled across.
There was another mural that we wanted to see and it was located on the side of a cute clothing boutique called Shop Molly Green.
The last mural spot for the day was in the 5 points area where we also got dinner at 5 Points Pizza for the buffalo chicken pizza, always!
To walk off our dinner we headed to the Parthenon. There was a good bit of construction going on but it is so beautiful with a great path for walking by a precious pond.
To end our trip with a bang we headed to Baked in Nashville for some red velvet cake to celebrate Jordan’s birthday and a night on Broadway.
This was such a fun weekend trip and I hope I’ve provided you with some inspo for your next trip to Music City! You can find a vlog of the trip below!
until next time,
